Director Message

FROM THE DIRECTOR’S DESK

Rastrahit Sewa Samiti, Gurugram is a Charitable, Non-Religious, Non-Political, and Non-Government Social Organization registered under the Haryana Registration and regulation of Societies Act 2012. The Society is under public domain for more than 7 Years and has been carrying out number of community welfare projects in the District of Gurugram, Haryana.

The Society is managed by a group of professionals & Educationist, well settled in their respective businesses / professions and currently working for the upliftment of the under privileged segment of the community. Indeed, they have pledged to volunteer their services for the nation building by adopting mandates covered under schedule VII of the companies Act 2013.

Giving regards to the forgoing facts the governing board of the society has decided to carry out its mandate in the field of Education for the upliftment of the children of the under privileged segment of the society.

Presently, we are running an Educational Centre namely, Rashtrahit Vidyalaya, at slum area of Sukhrali Enclave, Gurugram (Haryana).

This Educational Centre has about 400 children (Age Group: 3 to 14 years) who are being provided absolutely free education from Nursery to V Class. These are the children of maid servants, rickshaw-pullers, auto drivers, construction workers and other OBC sections of the society. After V Class, we sponsor our students for further education (VI to XII Class) in Madumal Sr. Sec School, Sector 4, Gurugram and ensure that they continue their education for their future career. Besides providing free education, the children are also given free uniform, shoes, study material etc. Computer Education is provided in co-ordination with SILVER SKILLS, a company of repute in the I.T Sector.

These children interact with other kids through various programs like Celebration of Republic Day, Sports Day, Independence Day, Shahidi Diwas, Mothers’ Day, Diwali, Dusshera, Christmas, Holi etc. They regularly participate in cultural activities and sports competitions organized by the Govt. of Haryana and other NGOs in Gurgaon and NCR.Beside a token fee of Rs 200/- per month per child (30% with full fee Conversations).
The Management of the school raises funds through small donations from individuals, corporate and NGOs such as Rotary Club, Lions Club, Lioness Club IFFCO Charitable Society and “ Ek Muksan”, a small NGO of Maruti Suzuki Gurugram to meet financial needs for recovering operational costs includes Teachers Salary, Building rent, purchase of Books and Study material, Printing of Stationery, School Bags, School uniforms, Shoes & Socks and other Administrative expenditure to run the institution smoothly, successfully.

In our efforts to protect the future of the destitute children, we call upon you to please donate in cash or kind to meet requirements of the Vidyalaya and be a partner to serve the community.
